The event, which took place on the first day of the year, commenced in various rooms characterized by an abundance of electronic devices, including computer monitors, keyboards, and large wall-mounted televisions. Individuals, primarily women and men, were observed interacting with these technologies, some using remote controls, others playing video games, and one woman even painting a computer screen. As the gathering evolved, groups of people conversed, while some attendees were seen filming with video cameras or dancing. The venue consistently featured prominent windows, offering views of passing cars and trains, and its walls were frequently adorned with white posters, signs, or large sheets of paper displaying text or images. The setting blended elements of a technology exhibition, a social convention, and a recreational space, with activities ranging from individual engagement with displays to collective interactions in technologically appointed rooms, often equipped with air conditioning and occasionally kitchen appliances.
